Symplectic geometry methods on Hamiltonian dynamics (2)

摘要：We will discuss symplectic capacity this important invariant of symplectic geometry, following mainly the monograph of H. Hofer, E. Zehnder, Symplectic Invariants and Hamiltionian Dynamics. We hope this seminar could be a good introduction to symplectic geometry and the study of closed orbits of Hamiltionian dynamics. And more advanced topics like Hofer’s geometry and Floer homology will only be briefly talked. The seminar in this semester follows the content of last semester. But our topic is an independent one, the participate is not assumed to have any perquisite knowledge in symplectic geometry or Hamiltonian system. All students and teachers interested are welcome.
