Guangxi Center for Mathematics Research was found in May 2019. It is affiliated to the Guangxi University and managed through the College of Mathematics and Information Science. The Center is located near Lianhu Lake on the west campus of Guangxi University. The foundation of the Center gains great support from the community of mathematics in China and Guangxi University.

Currently, the Center arms to promote mathematical research and higher education in Guangxi, support the construction plan of "double first-class" of Guangxi University and provide students in Guangxi the opportunity to be advised by world first-class mathematical masters. In future, the Center will host various academic activities to train new mathematical generation, enhance the popularity and influence of Guangxi University and Guangxi’s mathematics domestically and internationally.
