 Guangxi center for mathematics research will hold the online "2020 Graduate Frontier Courses" from September 14, 2020 to December 18, 2020. This frontier course consists of three courses, which are < Topics in Differential Geometry >, < Basic notions of representation theory >, and < Topics in Modern Partial Differential Equations >.

Course 2: Basic notions of representation theory

Lecturer: Professor Dong-wen Liu (Zhejiang University)

Course arrangement: every Tuesday from 15:00 to 17:00


Course 3: Topics in Modern Partial Differential Equations

Lecturer: Assistant Professor Shi-wu Yang (Beijing International Mathematics Research Center)

Course arrangement: every Thursday from 13:00 to 15:00


3.The enrollment targets

Senior undergraduates, masters, doctors, postdoctoral, young teachers.

Number of Enrollment: 300.


4. Registration and Admission:

1. Registration requirements: scan the code below and follow the WeChat official account of Guangxi Center for mathematics research. Enter the official account and click "frontier courses" -- "application form" below, fill in the information and submit;

2. The deadline for application is September 6, 2020. Please submit your application before this date;

3. Admission results will be notified via website and email before September 9, 2020;

4. There is no charge for this short course. However, due to the limited capacity of the online teaching platform, students will be admitted according to the evaluation results of the center on the application materials.

If you want to apply the certificate of completion, please download the electronic confirmation Form of Personal Information Confirmation form of Frontier Graduate Courses in 2020, and fill in the relevant content, sign your name by hand, and send the scanned PDF file with your signature and seal togxcmr@gxu.edu.cn before September 30, 2020. The electronic personal information confirmation form can be searched and downloaded from the website of Guangxi center for mathematics research and the official account of Guangxi Center for mathematics research WeChat.

2. Please change the name of the conference to "school + name" or "Young Scholar + Name" when entering the conference room, or you will be removed;

3. In order to avoid network congestion, please enter the conference room before the course started.
